5K Fun Run & Festival

Join us for the 2nd Annual 5k Fun Run hosted by the Clayton-Henry National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC)! 

Lace up your running shoes and get ready for a morning of fitness, fun, and community spirit.

Description: The Clayton-Henry NPHC invites you to participate in our 2nd Annual 5k Fun Run, a family-friendly event that promotes health, unity, and community engagement. Whether you're an experienced runner or just looking for a leisurely stroll, this event is open to participants of all ages and fitness levels.

🗓️ Date: Saturday, September 28, 2024

🕒 Time: 8:00am - 11:00am with Festival immediately following (Festival will end at 7:00pm)

📍 Location: Jason T. Harper Event Center, 95 Lake Dow Rd, Mcdonough, GA US 30252 

🌟 Event Highlights:

• Scenic 5K route through Hertitage Park
• Fun and festive atmosphere with music and entertainment
• Commemorative race medal for all registered participants
• Opportunities to connect with members of the Divine Nine Greek organizations and other community partners
• Vendor booths and sponsor exhibits

Proceeds from the 5K Fun Run will go towards the Clayton-Henry NPHC Scholarship Fund and other community initiatives. Your participation will make a positive impact on our community, contributing to our efforts to make college education affordable to all youth interested in higher education.

Refund Policy for 5K Fun Run/Walk:

Thank you for registering for the 5K Fun Run/Walk. Please read the following refund policy carefully before proceeding with your registration:

1. No Refunds: We regret to inform you that we do not offer refunds for registrations for the 5K Fun Run/Walk under any circumstances. This policy applies to all participants, regardless of the reason for cancellation or inability to attend the event.

2. Non-Transferable: Registrations for the 5K Fun Run/Walk are non-transferable. Once registered, your entry cannot be transferred to another individual or another event.

3. Event Cancellation: In the rare event that the 5K Fun Run/Walk is canceled due to circumstances beyond our control, such as inclement weather, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances, we will make every effort to reschedule the event. If rescheduling is not possible, registrants may be offered the opportunity to transfer their registration to a future event, subject to availability, but refunds will not be issued.

4. Participant Responsibility: It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure they are physically capable of participating in the 5K Fun Run/Walk with Festival. By registering for the event, participants acknowledge that they are aware of the physical demands of the activity and are medically fit to participate. No refunds will be issued for participants who are unable to complete the event due to personal reasons, injury, illness, or any other circumstance.

5. Participant Satisfaction: We strive to provide a positive and enjoyable experience for all participants in the 5K Fun Run/Walk. If you have any concerns or feedback regarding the event, please contact us directly so that we may address your concerns appropriately.

By completing your registration for the 5K Fun Run/Walk, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by the terms of this refund policy.
